School of Sports Education!
InThis School will deal with critical role of sports
education to prepare human resource for teaching
positions in the education system as well as develop
application of sports education to coaching of national
and international sports persons and management issues
related thereto. The school will also train and prepare
coaches / referees / Judges in different sports
disciplines as per the standards / norms of
International and National Sports Federations and the
guidelines of International Olympic Committee.
It will have the following departments under its fold:
Department of Physical Education!
Department of Physical Education conducts Bachelor Degree Program in Sports Education. The department is designed for students to gain specialized knowledge in the areas of physical education and sports. It helps students to chalk out pathway to become an innovator in the exciting world of physical education and sports.
Department of Sports Coaching!
Department of Sports Coaching conducts Bachelor & Master Degree Program in Sports Coaching. The department will give more emphasis on advanced research in the field of coaching. Sports Coaching focuses on coaching methods and theories among other aspects like sports techniques, exercise physiology, teaching methods, etc. It aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn and develop their coaching skills and prepare them for the world of professional coaching.
